Madison Memorial Hospital is the first hospital in Southeast Idaho to join the IHDE

The Idaho Health Data Exchange (IHDE) is excited to announce Madison Memorial Hospital (MMH), Rexburg, Idaho, has signed an agreement to join IHDE, the state-designated health information exchange serving Idaho, Eastern Washington, Eastern Oregon and Southwest Wyoming since 2008.
As the first hospital in Southeast Idaho to join IHDE, MMH’s participation with IHDE will provide valuable patient data from Southeast Idaho. This will enable IHDE-enrolled participants to access MMH patient data through the IHDE Clinical Portal, 24×7 and in real-time. MMH and its clinics are in the process of being connected bi-directionally to IHDE with an anticipated go-live by the end of 2017.
MMH joins eight other IHDE-connected health systems and hospitals, 300+ clinics, four labs, three payers and six PACS that are connected to IHDE for real-time sharing, receiving, access and retrieval of community-wide patient data in order to improve patient health and reduce healthcare costs for our state and region.
